ALMA BURCH

Alma  Williams Burch is a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina.  She accepted her call to the ministry in January 1982 and entered East Coast Bible College in Charlotte, North Carolina to prepare for ministry.  Alma graduated from East Coast Bible College with an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies. She received her license as a minister and was later ordained. She also is an IFOC-credentialed senior chaplain. Alma received a BA degree in Computer Information Systems from Queens University.  She then received a Master of Arts degree in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from Northcentral University.  She is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), a Certified Clinical Military Counselor (CCMC), and has a PhD in Psychology.

Alma recognized the need for the family to be built on a solid Christian structure. Drawing from her faith and personal experiences, she was moved with compassion for hurting women and families, leading her to find  “Perfecting of the Saints in Christ Ministries (PSCM).”  PSCM is a non-profit 501c(3) organization that focuses on ministering to hurting women, couples, marriages, and families.  One of the ministry’s missions is to integrate counseling with Biblical principles to rebuild the foundation God planned for the family and His people.  One of the ministry’s visions is to help women, couples, and families recognize and apply techniques and Biblical principles needed to keep their family strong.

Alma is married to Billy Joe and has seven adult children.  Billy and Alma have sixteen lovely grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
